Salary: around £37,000 pro rata (25 hours per week)

The Scottish Institute of Human Relations (SIHR) occupies a unique and interesting role in Scotland, with an established 40 year old reputation in the provision of trainings in adult, child, couple and family therapy, along with a range of short courses in areas as diverse as infant mental health and working with older people. SIHR also offers services in counselling, psychotherapy and organisational consultancy.

We are seeking an energetic and committed person to lead the organisation and help us to make an effective contribution to Scottish society.

As Director, you will have a track record of leadership and organisational development, with a proven ability to establish and secure project funding. An effective communicator, you will have the ability to influence policy development at local and national levels, and an understanding of the complexities of leading a membership based organisation.
