Online Books and Journals

As a basic resource, use www.google.com as a search engine for everything, for books go straight to Karnac Books just to see what's available in the psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, systemic field.

All online journals from Sage are at www.ingenta.com, while journals from Taylor and Francis can be viewed at www.catchword.com. Both these sites have their own internal searches. Usually you can view indexes, titles and sometimes abstracts, but not articles unless you are entitled and registered (because you already subscribe to the journal, or you belong to an organisation which does, and which has registered as an online subscriber. SIHR takes several of the journals but has not yet gone online).

Other specific links to particular publishers, or particular journals are: Routledge Online, International Journal of Psychotherapy, International Journal of Psychoanalysis, The Journal of Child Psychotherapy.

Psychminded is a leading UK-based publisher providing independent news, features, comment and other online services - including job vacancies - for all who work in psychology, psychiatry and mental health.

Neuro-Psychoanalysis and Interdisciplinary Journal for Psychoanalysis and the Neurosciences.
