The Membership Committee of SIHR is a subcommittee of SIHR Council.

This committee is hoping to hear from other members who would like to join. We want to be well spread geographically as well as professionally, to represent the width of SIHR membership. Any member of SIHR is very welcome to enquire no matter how new your own membership may be, or you can look at this page which explores how we work.

The remit of the membership committee is to accept and process applications for membership (network members and members) according to SIHR policy and criteria, and to re-examine this remit from time to time.

In carrying out this remit, particularly step 5 of the procedure, welcome and induction of new members, we depend upon the willingness and goodwill of many others: existing members, project leaders and administrative staff. Also, although the remit is simply the above, the membership committee is happy if from time to time it happens to be in a position to facilitate members concerns and enthusiasms.
